Today is a great day because one of our new favorite bands Can’t Swim has just released a brand new single titled “Stranger.” The dynamic four-piece, in case you aren’t familiar, is an alt-emo outfit we haven’t stopped raving about since hearing their jaw-dropping debut Death Deserves A Name earlier this year. And now, thankfully as we’ve worn that five-track EP out, is the start of something new for the New Jersey natives.
“‘Stranger’ is a good representation of what our new record sounds like,” explains frontman Chris Loporto. The songs are spread out across the spectrum, some quiet and slow while others are fast and aggressive, and I think 'Stranger’ captures both of those sides pretty well.”
Loporto continued to touch on the band’s forthcoming sound saying, “'Stranger’ is certainly a good foreshadowing of the band we want to be and the message we want to portray. I hope it sheds some light on what we have planned for the future and how excited we are to release more music.“
