Capsize Release Punishing New Video For “You Can’t Come Home The Same,” Also Reveal Unfortunate Loss of Equipment

Similar to bands like Counterparts and Hundredth, SoCal outfit Capsize has been known as one of the more in-your-face and mosh-heavy acts in the melodic hardcore scene. Proving just that, the young five-piece has just unleashed a chaotic new single titled, “You Can’t Come Home The Same.”

Drawing resemblance to everything from Norma Jean and Underoath to Drop Dead, Gorgeous, Capsize’s new single is an explosive kamikaze of sorts that’s bound to stir up some havoc both live and (hopefully) on a new record.

In addition to the new video, unfortunately, the band has also revealed while out on tour recently they were robbed of all their equipment. Of course this is news no band or fan wants to hear, but thankfully, the guys will remain on the road and continue their tour with Silverstein, Senses Fail and Hundredth. The band posted the following statement below to their Facebook page on how you can help recover some costs:

This morning we woke up to a call from the front office of our hotel that police were at our van and we had been robbed. We walked outside to find our trailer door open and all guitars, amps, cymbals, drum hardware, pedal boards, and some merch had all been stolen. Extensive police reports have been filed and we’ve done all we can in the ground work to trying [sic] to recover from this. Although this is the worst thing to ever happen to us, we are not going to let it slow us down and we are not going to cancel any shows of our upcoming tour with Silverstein, Senses Fail & Hundredth. If you feel like helping us out we’ve set up some donation links here, www.capsize.bigcartel.com”
