Come Get Your Interstellar Groove On To Light Thieves’ Mind-Bending “Eight Belles Death Spark” (Noise Exclusive)

Whether you’ve tried LSD or not, there’s no denying you can point out a pretty good song to trip out to as soon as you hear it. Light Thieves’ new synth-laced sizzler “Eight Belles Death Spark” is certainly one of those songs.

Premiering today exclusively on The Noise, the band’s latest – which is taken from their forthcoming LP Future Colors – is an audible kaleidoscope right from the get-go fusing sounds from the likes of Minus The Bear and Young the Giant.

As for what the song represents lyrically, vocalist/keyboardist Mike Adame explains that it’s all about staying positive and not letting your personal mistakes or previous disappointments interfere.

“Eight Belles Death Spark’ was written around the idea of putting words into action but not allowing your failures to bring you down. The song leans more towards the feeling you get when you lose motivation or lack the creative push you want when it comes to being productive with anything. It’s that moment where we get inside our heads and allow that to keep us from moving forward but then we finally hit a moment where things start falling into place.”
