Eat Your Heart Out Reveal Details For Debut Album ‘Florescence’

Just a few weeks after premiering their emotional lead single “Carousel” which was co-written by Movements’ Patrick Miranda, Australian outfit Eat Your Heart Out are back with news regarding their debut album.

Titled as Florescence, the band’s first full-length record will be available May 17th via Fearless Records.

Opening up about the forthcoming release, vocalist Caitlin Henry said, “I felt like I grew up a lot in the last year, in an emotional sense, and I learned how to deal with these kind of experiences in new ways. So I wanted a title that encompassed the idea of growing up and maturing, and it took us a while to come across the word ‘florescence’ but when we did we knew straight away that it was what we were looking for. It refers to the act of flowering or blooming, and I found it really interesting that I’d never come across the word before.”

In addition to the album news, the up-and-coming act has also released a brand new music video for “Carousel” directed by Kieran Ellis-Jones. To check out the new clip to get you prepared for Florscence, be sure to look below. Afterward, to download their new track, head here
