Enter Shikari Reveal Plans For ‘Take To The Skies’ 10-Year Anniversary Tour With Being As An Ocean

Joining the likes of August Burns Red, Mayday Parade, We The Kings and more celebrating 10-year anniversaries next year, UK post-hardcore experimentalists Enter Shikari have just revealed plans to commemorate 2007′s breakout debut Take To The Skies

“We’ll never write another album like Take To The Skies as Enter Shikari isn’t really a band that looks backwards,” explained frontman Rou Reynolds. “But to be celebrating the decade anniversary of our debut album feels insane. It’s going to be a celebration of that album rather than being the clichéd ‘play the album front-to-back.’”

Reynolds continued to add, “But, as this is a special occasion, it’s important for us to recognise the importance of this album to us, and for the family of people who have supported us since those early days. On a purely selfish note, I cannot wait to play some of the tracks we haven’t played since 2007, or even ever! The fact that we get to reminisce and relive tracks we recorded so long ago, and that are still held dear by so many, is something I could have never anticipated back then and fills me with appreciation for everyone that has supported this band over the years.”

As of right now, the tour will feature support from Being As An Ocean with more names to be added later. To pick up limited presale tickets for next year’s tour, head here. For tour dates and locations, see below.
