ICYMI: Between The Buried And Me’s Thomas Giles Reveals New Solo Album ‘Velcro_Kid,’ Shares New Single

As if fans haven’t received enough music from Between The Buried And Me as of late (we mean, 2015′s Coma Ecliptic is enough to last a lifetime), the band’s frontman Thomas Rodgers has just announced the release of his new solo album Velcro_Kid.

Set to hit stores November 4 via Sumerian Records, Velcro_Kid will mark Rodgers’ third solo release under the moniker Thomas Giles and his first with a predominantly electronic approach.

“With Velcro_Kid I wanted to step outside of my comfort zone and channel a part of me that I haven’t explored yet,” explains Rodgers. “Taking a more electronic stance was a very natural evolution for me at this moment. The outcome was something I never would have imagined and I’m very excited for the world to hear what’s been in my head for the last couple of years.”

The longtime vocalist continued to add, “I’m more than fortunate to have Navene [Koperweis formally of Animals As Leaders] work with me on this music and have some amazing collaborations on a few of the tracks. This is my next chapter and I’m already looking forward to where my music will go in the future. As always, thanks for listening.”
