In anticipation of their forthcoming album Paradise – which hits stores in what feels like forever (May 6 via Domino) – Vancouver’s White Lung has released an epic new single titled “Kiss Me When I Bleed.”

Creating what feels like a Rise Against-meets-Joy Formidable concoction of aggressive yet accessible rock music, “Kiss Me When I Bleed” is a track we bet you cannot listen to just once.

In regards to the single’s intense and infectious subject matter, frontwoman Mish Barber-Way explains that it all stems from love and the pride someone feels when they experience it.

“‘Kiss Me When I Bleed’ is about pride. That kind of steadfast, I-don’t-give-a-fuck-I’m-in-love pride in that we all wish we had for someone. This song is my fairy tale. Riches to rags and happily ever after because nothing else in this world really matters except love.”

To hear the toe-tapping, head-jarring new tune for yourself, be sure to look below. Afterwards, make sure to not only pre-order Paradise but also pick up tickets to see White Lung on tour here.
