Lou Miceli Talks Fashion, Internet Culture and New Palisades Record In Recent Interview

This Saturday on idobi Radio, we’re very excited to announce we’ll be airing our exclusive interview with Palisades frontman Lou Miceli.

Speaking with the young vocalist about his band’s progressive and always evolving sound, Lou set the record straight about why his band is at the forefront of making music that’s always ahead of the game.

“We make music not only for the fans but we make music for us. We make music because we are musicians and that’s what we do. I feel like sometimes a lot of kids these day are so jaded by music now they expect us to sometimes be these machines that only pop out what they want to hear.”

He continued to add, “We’re six individuals that are making music how we want to make music and the only thing you can hope for is that people still fuck with you because you’re creating something that’s different. We could sit here and write Outcasts ten times over but that wouldn’t be pushing ourselves as musicians or artists and we wouldn’t be able to push ourselves to get where we want to be one day.”

To hear the full interview discussing Lou’s recently launched Miceli brand, his thoughts on internet culture as well as an update on Palisades’ upcoming album, tune into Idobi.com/radio from 4-5pm PST // 7-8pm EST this Saturday.
