You know when you hear a fantastic song for the first time and immediately think about how you have to listen to it again but with the best pair of headphones you can find in the confines of your room with the lights turned down? You know what we’re talking about. A song that’s so good, as soon as it strikes your ears, you are suddenly transported to a faraway land where for the duration of the track you feel like you’re floating?

Well, for those of you who might have no idea what we’re talking about, go find your older sibling’s most expensive headphones and get ready to be blown away by Figure Eight’s “Oyster Days.”

Teaming up with The Noise to premiere the track taken from their debut full-length album Any Givin Flower (due out May 24th), “Oyster Days,” to put it honestly, is a free-flowing cosmic portal to feelings you never knew you had. Trust us, you’ll soon know what we’re talking about.

Opening up about the blissful new single, Figure Eight mastermind Ryan Meyers told The Noise: “[This is] one of my most favorite songs I’ve ever written, I feel very connected to the song and it came out in such a way that makes me feel a lot of emotions. I don’t like to explain too much, but there is definitely a theme of dealing with social anxiety and finding the light at the end of the tunnel in your life, take what you will from it.”
