Aw yes, summer love: One of the most sought-after experiences and most likely the number one influence for some of your favorite pop-punk love tracks – you know, like “First Date” by Blink-182 and “I’d Do Anything” by Simple Plan. With you quite possibly in the middle of your own summertime romance, today we’re excited to be premiering a delightful new indie-pop track from Buffalo newcomers Super American.

Titled as “Hands Down Olivia,” according to co-member Pat Feeley, Super American’s new track is about “meeting someone [he] knew nothing about (for once) and navigating the murky waters of trying to pursue them in this day and age.”

“I remember wanting to learn about them in real life without social media as the basis for all interaction,” Feeley explained. “The vibe of the song is the general excitement of having a crush while not being in the mood for anything serious.“
