Not Cool: Somebody Hit Foxing’s Frontman Mid-Set And Broke His Nose

If there’s one thing that stands out most about Foxing’s calming and delightful sound, other than the pure joy and serenity it brings to listeners, it has to be the elegant notes heard from frontman Conor Murphy’s trumpet.

Heard throughout multiple tracks on both The Albatross and Dealer LPs, Murphy’s trumpet playing is certainly an integral part of the band – especially on their heart-wrenching, fan-favorite “Rory.”

That said, after an unfortunate incident on tour where Murphy broke his nose mid-set, the band recently announced on Twitter that the trumpet playing will be put on hold.
