If you’ve been wondering why there’s an irreparable hole in your heart (metaphorically, of course) for the last five years or so, may we suggest it might have something to do with one of our scene’s best and most influential bands?

After nearly 12 years of providing seven sensational albums and countless jaw-dropping performances, alt-rock staples Anberlin decided to call it quits in 2014.

Leaving a gaping hole in the community they helped build, thankfully after five long and excruciating years, Stephen Christian, Deon Rexroat, Joseph Milligan, Nathan Young and Christian McAlhaney have decided to regroup and resurrect their beloved band for a 2019 headlining tour.

Back in action and better than ever, the Flordia outfit recently paid a visit to Arizona’s Van Buren theater with I The Mighty where Noise contributors Kyle Dehn and Julius Aguilar caught both marvelous bands in action.

To check out photos of Anberlin ripping into over 20 fan-favorite tracks such as “Paper Thin Hymn,” “Godspeed” and, of course, “Feel Good Drag,” be sure to see below. Afterward, make sure to grab tickets to Anberlin and I The Mighty’s remaining tour dates here.
