Let us give you a little piece of advice: If you ever get the chance to see Nine Inch Nails, do it. Seriously, don’t even think twice about it. Who cares if you have a babysitter or not. As soon as you hear “Do you want to go see Nine Inch Nails,” if your answer isn’t immediately “hell yes!”, you are making a very big mistake.
Now for some of you reading this, that is the probably most obvious statement you’ve heard in 2018. However, for some you who think Nine Inch Nails is solely meant for active rock radio and you dad’s 90′s rock workout playlist, listen up and get ready to take notes as you’re about to learn a thing or two.
For all the doubters, there’s a reason why Trent Reznor and company are on the top of everybody’s soon-to-be-inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame list. From their trademark industrial sound that has inspired countless acts over the years to their astonishing live show which has left easily hundreds of thousands of show-goers absolutely stunned, Nine Inch Nails is 100% the real fucking deal.
For 30 years now – yes, 30 monumental years – the purveyors of electronic-laced hard rock have been providing the soundtrack to forward-thinking, genre-bending, mind-melting music that can only truly be appreciated in a live setting.
For that reason, we sent Noise contributor Julius Aguilar to Phoenix, Arizona’s Comerica Theatre to catch night one of the band’s Cold Black And Infinite North American Tour with The Jesus And Mary Chain and Tobacco. For a glimpse into the night that was nothing short of legendary, be sure to check out Aguilar’s breathtaking photos below. Afterward, make sure to grab tickets to see Nine Inch Nails out on tour here.
