Just before hitting the road on their upcoming tour with The Used and Marmozets, Every Time I Die has announced that drummer Ryan “Legs” Leger will no longer be a part of the band.

Now, before anyone jumps to any conclusions, the split between Leger and ETID was completely mutual as the drummer plans to spend more time with his family. Filling in for now will be ex-Norma Jean and Underoath drummer Daniel Davison.

To see the band’s thoughtful short goodbye to their drummer of the past five years, check below. Afterwards, make sure to pick up tickets to see Davison and his new bandmates on tour here.

"Sadly, Ryan "Legs" Leger is no longer with us. He’s not dead, he has just voluntarily ended his involvement with ETID in order to spend more time with his family and hopefully one day earn that coveted #1 Dad mug he’s heard so much about. We wish him nothing but the best and we will all miss him dearly. but the show must go off. Enter Daniel Davison.

See you soon.”
