Well everybody, the best news of our week has officially arrived. Just announced this afternoon, New Jersey alt-emo outfit Can’t Swim (aka one of our absolute favorite bands right now) has dropped news regarding the release of their sophomore LP.
Titled as This Too Won’t Pass, Can’t Swim’s highly-anticipated follow-up 2017′s Fail You Again will be available November 16th via Pure Noise Records.
Touching on the new 10-track effort which focuses on the idea of the word “evil,” vocalist/guitarist Chris LoPorto said: “Problems haunt you, infect you, and in time become a part of who you are. You might find ways to distract yourself or try and forget but every time you look in the mirror you’ll only see reminders of what you hate. Evil surrounds us and in time, becomes a part of who we are. Let this band be a reminder of that.”
Dark, we know.
Now, to get yourself extremely excited for a brand new Can’t Swim album (as if you weren’t excited enough), be sure to check out the band’s intoxicating lead single “My Queen” below. Afterward, make sure to pre-order This Too Won’t Pass and pick up tickets to see Can’t Swim out on tour with Trophy Eyes, Seaway, Microwave and Hot Mulligan here.
