State Champs Share New Upbeat Saves The Day and Cartel-Influenced Track “Mine Is Gold”

Inching closer and closer to the June 15th release date for their highly anticipated album Living Proof, pop-punkers State Champs have just shared their third new single “Mine Is Gold.”

Following where they left off with “Dead And Gone” and “Crystal Ball,” State Champs’ killer new track, according to frontman Derek DiScanio, goes out to anyone affected by negative people in their life.

“If you’ve ever been betrayed, bullied, or doubted by someone close to you, ‘Mine Is Gold’ is for you,” explains DiScanio.

“This one hits home for us in a range of ways and gives us a sense of pride after the musical risk we took on the chorus of this song especially,” adds DiScanio. “We took a lot of influence from bands like Cartel and Saves the Day on this song and the way they can shape dynamics and changes in energy.”
