With their sophomore record Ours Is Chrome set to hit stores in less than a week, grunge warriors Superheaven have decided to put up their new album to stream in full via Red Bull Music.

For a flashback to flannel, Are You Afraid of The Dark? and Pogs, make sure to check out the band’s fresh take on the 90′s revival here.

When asked about the album’s title, Ours Is Chrome, singer and guitarist Taylor Madison explains that the name applies to the life of most touring musicians – theirs specifically.

“It refers to how people who aren’t familiar with underground music, and who only listen to the radio, think that if you’re in a touring band, you’re rich and famous,” Madison states. “It’s not like that. To the everyday person, it might seem like we live this exciting life — touring Europe and playing for a bunch of people — and it might seem like we make a lot of money. We don’t make a lot of money and it’s not glamorous. It’s like chrome, something that’s shiny on the outside, but when you break it down, it’s just some bullshit that has silver stuff all over it. It’s not what it seems.”

Ours Is Chrome will be released May 4 via SideOneDummy Records. To pre-order the album, head here
