Surprise: Here’s A Brand New Grayscale Single Titled “Painkiller Weather”

Currently out on tour with The Maine, emerging pop-punk outfit Grayscale have just dropped a brand new single titled “Painkiller Weather.”

Set to a dancy, free-flowing sound, Grayscale’s new single is actually quite dark as it centers around a girl named Madison and her use of heroin.

“I loved a girl named Madison, and she liked to do heroin,” sings frontman Collin Walsh. “Pull the shades, let the sunshine in. She doesn’t know what room she’s in.”

Explaining a little behind the track, the band commented, “‘Painkiller Weather’ is a song about being hopelessly in love with someone who can’t put love in front of their vice. It’s about trying to understand how they think and feel what they feel.” The band went on to add, “We’re excited to have new music out for the first time in two years.”
