Just a couple days before kicking off their European tour with Asking Alexandria, metalcore veterans The Word Alive have revealed who will be filling the spot of ex-drummer Luke Holland.
Announced via a Facebook post, the band stated that the new guy behind the kit will be none other than their former drum tech, Matt Horn.
“A new chapter in The Word Alive‘s story has begun. We’ll be turning over the touring drummer duties to our longtime friend Matt Horn. Those who have followed our journey for years know him as our longtime drum tech and the performer on our album Life Cycles. We believed after much deliberation that the best path for us was to keep things in the TWA family. Matt has been one of our biggest supporters and it is our honor to give him this well-deserved opportunity!”
