Post-Hardcore / Progressive
Dance Gavin Dance is a post-hardcore band coming out of Sacramento that euphoniously fuses different sounds of punk, rock, and metal. The group is made up of five members (Tilian Pearson, Jon Mess, Will Swan, Tim Feerick, and Matthew Mingus), all previously parts of various bands, such as Farewell Unknown and Ghost Runner on Third. In 2006, they signed with label Rise Records and debuted their first EP "Whatever I Say Is Royal Ocean" that November. Since their first EP in 2006, the band has released nine studio albums, including their latest work, "Artificial Selection," which was released in June 2018.
