Dark, creepy and frightening are all three great ways to describe the new Code Orange music video for “Dreams in Inertia.” Maintaining the same eerie vibes from their video for “I Am King,” this video features the band playing in an ominous attic as a group of ghostly youths perform disturbing cult-like actions in the middle of the woods. Oh yeah, there’s also a young boy attempting to drown himself in a bathtub.
As for the song itself, it is a bit of a surprise as it is notably slower than most Code Orange tracks. With no screaming in it either, “Dreams in Inertia” definitely comes off as a bit of a shock. However, after multiple listens, we have to say we’re a fan of the different approach.
