If after watching Parkway Drive’s latest music video for “Vice Grips” you immediately wondered how it came about, you’re in luck as the band just released a behind the scenes clip recapping the extensive shoot.
According to the video below, the skydiving concept for “Vice Grips” initially started out as a joke but later became reality as frontman Winston McCall and co. decided to “practice what they preach” and face their fears.
“This was the scariest thing I’ve done in my entire life,” recalls McCall. “It became one of those moments when I realized yeah, you’ve written this song and the lyrics mean a lot to you, but if you don’t follow through with them then you’re not exactly practicing what you preach.”
