In support of his latest EP A Modern Tragedy, Vol. 2, emerging rock emcee and Fueled By Ramen signee grandson has just announced a fall headlining tour.
Featuring fellow labelmate nothing, nowhere., the End Of The Beginning tour kicks off September 10th in Minneapolis, runs throughs grandson’s appearance at Chicago’s Riot Fest and concludes October 25th at New Orleans’ Voodoo Fest.
Commenting about the upcoming run of tour dates, the outspoken vocalist took to Instagram and said, “AMERICA. The first chapter of the resistance is closing. This is the end of the beginning. Since the very first song came out in September 2016 we have been dreaming of what it would feel like to play bigger spaces. Tell bigger stories. Use a larger visual component to the shows to add more commentary to what being a grandkid is all about. Now, 3 years later, at rock bottom, we are ready to take that step. nothing, nowhere. will be joining us. Ramón Blanco, Renzo Bravo, David Rehmann will be bringing the rock and roll like always. Biggest tour yet. I LOVE U LETS FUCKING DO THIS.”
In addition to the tour announcement, today grandson has also released a brand new six-track live EP titled no apologies.
“By the way,” Grandson posted on Facebook, “we fucked around and recorded a couple shows from the No Apologies Tour and compiled a live EP to give you a taste of what to expect for the end of the beginning [tour]. Blast this shit for a taste of the resistance.”
