This Saturday on idobi Radio, we’re stoked to announce we’ll be airing our interview with former Attack Attack! member and current Beartooth frontman Caleb Shomo.
Talking with the young vocalist about Beartooth’s latest album Aggressive and how it compares to his previous work both with Attack Attack! and Beartooth, Shomo revealed that this recent release might be one of his most important and favorite records yet.
“This is for me the most important and by far my favorite piece of work that I’ve ever done in my life. This record making process was really fucking gnarly. Honestly, looking back on it, it was just like that [snaps] – it was like a blink of an eye but it felt like a million years. With me doing it in my basement alone for the majority of the process, it’s crazy man.”
Shomo continued to add, “Making this record was the most rewarding thing ever because there were so many times where I was legit just like, ‘I need a break, there’s no way I’m going to be able to do this and be okay.’ But I was just like ‘Fuck it, I’m going to do it. I need to make this record and it needs to be the right record’ and it all turned out perfect. Like, every song, when I listened to it – I listened to it on the flight [to LA] yesterday – front to back and I fuckin’ love it. I genuinely love this album so much.”
