In preparation for their sixth full-length album EARTHANDSKY, metalcore veterans Of Mice & Men have just debuted their fourth hard-hitting single titled “Taste Of Regret.”
Continuing where they left off with “How To Survive,” “Mushroom Cloud,” and “Earth & Sky,” Of Mice & Men’s latest is fierce pit-starter all about keeping your lips sealed.
“‘Taste of Regret’ is a song about knowing when to pick your battles and also knowing when to shut your mouth and bite your tongue,” says lead singer and bassist Aaron Pauley. “‘Loose lips sink ships,’ as the age-old cliché goes. There’s a lot of truth in that though. One’s loud mouth can ruin their life.”
Detailing Of Mice & Men’s new Mark Lediard-directed video, which sees the band star in a mysterious videotape, drummer Tino Arteaga said, “Pulling inspiration from old psychological thrillers and filmmaking from the '70s and '80s, 'Taste of Regret’ continues our ongoing visual narrative of the previous three videos for this album at an alternate point in the timeline.”
