Proceeding to put out single after single after single in preparation of their seventh studio album Order In Decline, Sum 41 has just premiered their brand new politically powered track “45 (A Matter Of Time).”
Titled after “He Who Must Not Be Named” (no, not the villain from Harry Potter, instead, the villain of the entire world aka the 45th President of the United States), Sum 41′s latest is a refreshing and forceful take on the current state of affairs.
With lyrics like, “Not worthy of name, a number you’ll get, a symbol of meaninglessness, void of respect” and “In a matter of time, you’ll get what you earned, and we’ll take pleasure in watching you burn” it’s pretty clear how Deryck Whibley and company feel about our nation’s head Cheeto in Charge.
