Here’s What It Sounds Like When The Offspring and 311 Cover Each Other’s Songs

In case you’ve ever wondered what a 311 song might sound like in the style of punk rock or an Offspring song sang in the key of reggae, today’s your lucky day. In anticipation of their upcoming Never-Ending Summer Tour, 311 and The Offspring have both decided to cover each other’s songs.

Yep, that’s right. Taking a stab at the ‘95 classic “Down,” Dexter Holland and company put a punk rock, mosh-pit-starting spin on one of 311′s biggest tracks. Then, in return, Nick Hexum and his 311 bandmates took The Offspring’s Smash hit “Self Esteem” and  “reggaefied"  it.

To check out the results, be sure to see below. If you love what you hear, make sure to pick up an exclusive Never-Ending Summer 7″ vinyl featuring both covers here. Lastly, if you haven’t grabbed your tickets to see The Offspring, 311 and special guests Gym Class Heroes, head here
