With just about a month to go until they release their highly anticipated follow-up to 2016′s Promise Everything, alt-emo rockers Basement have just dropped their second new single titled “Stigmata.”
“‘Stigmata’ was the first time I had tried a different tuning and the song pretty much came out all in one go,” explains frontman Andrew Fisher. “It felt really organic – in fact, I think the arrangement on the record is the same as the demo I first showed anyone. The lyrics are about the times when you feel incredibly low without any real reason, and how in those times you feel there is no other way to be.”
