Alright, everybody: Before we get waaaay too ahead of ourselves and jump to any conclusions surrounding From First To Last and their former frontman Sonny Moore (aka Skrillex) reuniting, please remember just a week ago when My Chemical Romance broke everybody’s hearts with their non-reunion. We’re sorry we had to bring it up again, but let that be a reminder to anybody assuming a teaser video equals a reunion.
Now, for the readers out there that have no idea what’s going on, let us fill you in. Over the weekend, Moore debuted a song dubbed as “Bonus Track” on OSWLA’s Beats 1 radio show via Apple Music. The song, which you can hear below, came in at a minute and 25-seconds long and sounded very much like a From First To Last demo with Moore’s vocals on it.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough to get everybody riled up, From First To Last shared a link to the radio show on their Facebook page – yeah, we know – leaving everybody wondering whether or not this was planned or simply coincidental.
Neither Moore or From First To Last have commented on “Bonus Track” but there is word that guitarist Matt Good has been in the studio working on new music. And, to add fuel to the fire, the last From First To Last record featuring Moore on vocals, Heroine, just happened to hit it’s ten-year anniversary this year. So, with all that information, there’s still one question that remains: Does any of this actually mean anything or are we simply putting pieces together that don’t exist?
Guess we’ll have to wait and see. Stay tuned.
