Just days away from dropping their debut album State Of Mind and kicking off their first-ever US co-headlining run with Stand Atlantic, WSTR, Hold Close and Point North, emerging Australian outfit The Faim paid a visit to our Noise office to play us some new music and talk all about their brand new record and upcoming tour.
Telling us about their Noise and Ones To Watch presented trek which launches next week in Houston, Faim frontman Josh Raven said, “There are so many things to look forward to with our tour coming up with Stand Atlantic. They’re an incredible bunch of people and their music is great. We’ve got a lot of respect for what they’ve done and it’s just exciting to be able to not only get to play with bands that are doing really well and being received really well all over the world but bands that we actually enjoy.”
Later Raven added, “We listen to [Stand Atlantic’s] songs quite a bit – Linden especially. He really, really loves Stand Atlantic. So we’re just really excited to get to know them, get inside their world and also meet people that we may not have met before … We love to have conversations and we love to meet new people. So yeah, just excited to really experience the tour in general.”
As for what The Faim had to say about their new album and infectious lead single “Humans,” you’ll have to watch our chat with the band below. After checking out the video and our behind the scenes photos, make sure to pre-order a copy of State Of Mind and grab tickets to see The Faim out on tour here.
