While gearing up for the release of their SideOneDummy Records debut Delusion Moon, former Noise Show interview guests Meat Wave are currently streaming a brand new single off their upcoming album titled, “Cosmic Zoo.”
Premiering on Consequence of Sound, Meat Wave’s new single offers a high-energy, garage-punk sound listeners can frantically bob their heads to as they do their best to sing along with frontman Chrs Sutter.
When asked the dizzying new tune, Sutter told COS the following:
“‘Cosmic Zoo’ is based on conversations you have with people who present their personal opinions on life or the universe as fact or the truth. The song is saying, ‘Well, we’re kind of all in this crazy, zoo-like life together, I think it’s pretty uncertain.’ I remember when we were all playing in the room tracking this song in particular, and experiencing a pretty transcendental, transporting feeling from what we were doing. Don’t really remember tracking any of the other songs.”
