Doing their best to put aside last night’s unfortunate Grammy performance which was riddled with technical issues, Metallica, as previously hinted at, have just announced a huge summer tour.
Featuring Avenged Sevenfold with support from Volbeat and Gojira on select dates, the massive WorldWired Tour kicks off May 10th and runs all the way through to August 16th. Playing incredibly large stadiums like the 92,000 capacity Rose Bowl in Los Angeles and the 72,000 seater Alamodome in San Antonio, it’s safe to say Metallica’s first full US tour in over seven years is going to be one to remember.
