To help celebrate the digital re-release of their 2009 classic Punk Rawk Christmas, longtime punk rock outfit MxPx have just debuted their brand new holiday track “December.”
Featuring Simple Plan’s Pierre Bouvier and former Tsunami Bomb vocalist Emily Whitehurst, MxPx’s latest is a non-traditional look at the sometimes not-so-cheery holiday season.
Speaking about the song, MxPx mastermind Mike Herrera said, “I wrote this song and my friends Emily and Pierre sang on it. The song came out better than I [ever] imagined!”
Herrera went on to say, “I’m hoping 2019 brings more of these kinds of collaborations. We definitely don’t see enough of it in this scene. Let’s get it.”
