In a lot of ways 2020 can be seen like an action movie. There are tons of bad guys (and girls) running rampant through the streets (and The Oval Office) and it’s our job to defeat them.

The only thing missing? How about a badass theme song?

Well, look no further than ex-Hopes Die Last member and current trap metal specialist Becko – aka Italian producer, musician and vocalist Marco Calanca.

Teaming up with fellow EDM enthusiast Prymus, the two have concocted a jarring, bass-heavy track inspired by things such as anime and metalcore.

Talking about his fierce new single “Dying Lights” taken from the upcoming full-length album INNER SELF (available later this year via FiXT), Becko says, “‘Dying Lights’ is a violent but melodic song inspired by dystopian, futuristic anime scenarios like Fist of the North Star or Akira. Humans are at the last chapter of existence and machines are the new species.”

“Musically,” he adds, “the track is inspired by gritty trap and epic metalcore like Architects and Northlane.”
