2020 has brought on a lot of new experiences for everyone both good and bad. Focusing on the good (cause really, we’ve had enough bad already), hopes are you’ve discovered a new hobby while in quarantine.
Maybe you just realized you really like to cook? Or read? Or run? Or perhaps you’re pretty good at streaming episodes of The Office on repeat?
Either way, after finding out about these new passions, we bet there was little time until you completely threw yourself into them as you pursued that newfound thrill.
Writing about that sense of discovery and what it feels like to dive in and feel a stronger attachment to it is alternative rock quintet Sunsleep.
Set to their Hands Like Houses-like track “New Sensations,” the band’s new single is all about “experiencing something for the first time and chasing highs that promote a deeper connection,” says vocalist Devin Barrus.
Teaming up with The Noise to premiere their vibey new song and accompanying music video, Barrus touched on the futuristic clip stating, “We decided that it would be fun to have a 3D AI character play the narrative of this song connecting into these ‘sensations’ or attempting to tap into an interconnected network.”
