Warning: This song talks about a lot of death. Like, a lot of it. By no means is it belittling those who have lost their life but instead, well, you’ll see…
If you’ve been watching the news lately you’ve probably seen the repetitive report that, unfortunately, we’re all gonna die.
Be it global warming, gun violence, police brutality, a worldwide pandemic or incompetent politicians, death appears to be pretty imminent for us all.
Take it as you will, this unsettling news has lead a lot of artists to create music surrounding the ongoing talks of death – one of those artists being audiovisual glam rock and “normcore” brainchild Baby FuzZ, aka singer-songwriter Sterling Fox.
Similar to The Jim Carroll Band’s “People Who Died,” the multi-talented musician, who has worked with the likes of Madonna, Max Martin, Elle King, Avicii, Lana Del Rey, Britney Spears and more, has put his own quirky spin on the topic of dying with his latest track “We’re All Gonna Die!!!”
“Not to be a total downer,” he says of the new tongue in cheek single, “but we’re all gonna die. Eventually. Oh well. Life goes on. Make the most of it and don’t be an asshole.”
