If you’ve ever wondered what an album from the 70′s would sound like written through the lens of an alt-emo band – like if Title Fight made a classic rock record – you’ve come to the right place.
While the concept might sound a little odd, it’s actually a formula done to perfection courtesy of New Jersey noisemakers America Part Two.
Still question it? Well, to help highlight their distinct, genre-fusing abilities, the talented trio is teaming up with The Noise to debut their brand new music video for their chilled-out, awe-inspiring single “Glaciers.”
Elaborating on the new environmentally-friendly song, the band said, “‘Glaciers’ is our love letter to the Earth. Mary-Louise Parker wrote so eloquently, ‘Time should weep for having spent me without you’ about the one that got away in her life. We took that theme and applied it to the pain future human beings would feel knowing that we let this Earth get away from us. That we dumped our shit into the oceans, tortured the animals, and burned the forests for all the wrong reasons.”
“So now it’s up to us,” the band concluded, “the people of the 2020’s to save the world. That is no exaggeration.”
