If you like your catchy pop-punk music with a heavy dose of shred, you’ve come to the right place. Today, The Noise is stoked to be teaming up with LA’s self-proclaimed “friendly neighborhood emo band” to premiere their riveting new single “More Than I Deserve.”

Like a combination of Four Year Strong, Set Your Goals and Man Overboard, the latest track from the young four-piece is a driving, hard-hitting jam coupled with some heartfelt lyricism.

Opening up about the song taken from the group’s debut album Turning Point, the band collectively shared, ‘More Than I Deserve’ is about asking your partner to fight for your relationship when your fear of commitment eventually drives them away. Even when you know that you’re in the right relationship from both an emotional and logical standpoint, an unspoken pressure to take the next steps together often adds a lot of stress to something that should otherwise be solely a source of happiness.”

The band went on to add, “[‘More Than I Deserve’] is one of the most poppy and upbeat songs on our album, but we really enjoy the juxtaposition of major-key tracks mixed with melancholic lyrics. Generally the juxtaposition of sadness disguised as fun has always been compelling for us, sort of like putting on a smile around a group of friends when you’re really hurting inside. That combination has always resonated with us and we thought ‘More Than I Deserve’ was the right song to showcase it.”
