If you’re looking for a weekend (and/or possible Spring Break) soundtrack, we’re stoked to be bringing you the exclusive premiere of Discrepancies’ new music video for their rap-meets-metalcore song “Get Hype.”
Sounding something like if Tech N9ne jumped on a Breaking Benjamin track, Discrepancies is definitely like nothing you’ve heard before. As for what their new song represents, frontman ATG Metcalf says, “’Get Hype’ is a song about positive ways to cope with anger, stress, and depression. As artists, we take everything that’s been eating away at us all week, drag it out on stage and turn it into positive energy. We asked our good friend Freddy to capture that energy on film and we couldn’t be more happy with the results.”
To check out Discrepancies’ new music video, be sure to look below. Afterwards, make sure to pre-order the band’s forthcoming LP The Awakening before it hits stores March 23rd via InVogue Records. Additionally, if you’re going to the Vans Warped Tour this summer, make sure to catch the band on the Full Sail Stage 6/30 - 7/5.
