Just two days after having their van broken into while out on tour, fans have come to the aid of Boston post-hardcore outfit Vanna raising over $11k via Gofundme.
According to the band, while driving though Atlanta, Georgia, their van was broken into as it was parked in a well lit road surrounded by various restaurants and businesses. Losing valuable personal items, including laptops, iPads, GoPros and more, Vanna stated they have no plans to drop off their current run with For Today, Like Moths to Flames and more.

“On the evening of February 5th, a day off from tour, we stopped half way through our 10 hour drive in Atlanta Georgia to have dinner with friends and family. We parked, only for a couple hours on a well lit main road in a business and restaurant district. We came out to discover that in that short time our van had been broken into and all of our personal affects had been stolen. We don’t believe we were targeted, and it seems like a smash and grab especially given the well lit and busy location of the van. That being said the band and crew lost electronics, clothing, and personal items as a result of the break in. Police were called and a report was filed, but as a lot of you know this will not be “solved” and no real justice will be served.
We are well aware of the risks of bringing expensive items on the road with us, however each of us run businesses and have work outside the band that we must still conduct on the road which is the only reason we were traveling with expensive electronic items such as laptops, iPads, GoPros, etc. We take every precaution possible to ensure this doesn’t ever happen, but the reality is sometimes there is nothing that can be done.
We have no desire or plans of leaving this tour, but we do need help. We have totaled up the losses and are going to start chipping away at the damage done. Anything will help. If you don’t have the means to donate, please repost about this on your socials and thank you for spreading the word.
As always we will take this to fuel us and keep moving. We are grateful that no one is hurt and that what was taken from us was just stuff, and stuff can be replaced.
