Off their forthcoming album Periphery III: Select Difficulty, D.C. progressive metal outfit Periphery has just released a brand new single titled “The Price Is Wrong.”
Serving as the opening track to their fourth full-length album (fifth if you count Juggernaut as two separate records), “The Price Is Wrong” is a fast-paced barrage of riffs, drum fills and Spencer Sotelo vocals. In other words, it could very well be seen as a djentplosion.
“It’s like handing somebody a grenade,” says guitarist Jake Bowen about the new track. “It’s so in-your-face and brutal for us. It was a great way to start.”
