You guys are probably too young to remember this (hell, we are too) but there used to be a point before smartphones and digital cameras where if you wanted to show someone photos of something, you had to physically print out the image and then show them in person. And before that, you’d usually use something ancient called a slide projector where you’d bore your family to death by manually flipping through your camera’s film for hours on end as you show them that one time you went to the Grand Canyon back in ‘82.
Now we know what you’re thinking: “Why the hell are we telling you all this?” Well, because we’re going to go back to that era of film showing for a second as we highlight some photos from a recent tour that’s already come to end.
Like your Great Grandma’s trip to Bolivia back in ‘52, we’re going to walk you photo by photo of State Champs’ recent Living Proof tour featuring Our Last Night, The Dangerous Summer and Grayscale.
Are you ready? Too bad if you aren’t because here we go…
It was March 26th, 2019 at the Van Buren Theater in Phoenix, Arizona. It was a cool weather night as all you needed was a long sleeve with shorts and maybe a beanie if you wanted to feel extra chill – we decided against the beanie due to all the push moshing we knew we were about to do, especially during Grayscale’s set…
Okay, okay. We’re totally joking. April Fools. No way we’re about to put you through a two-hour-long recap mentioning every single insignificant detail that happened that night. Instead, we’re just going to let the photos do all the talking.
Sounds good? Good. Now enjoy some kickass photos from Noise contributor Kyle Dehn below and remember to call your grandparents afterward.
