Welp, coronavirus strikes again. Unfortunately, like all major festivals across the globe, Riot Fest has just had to postpone their annual punk rock gathering to next year.
Commenting on the new the Douglas Park event now booked for September 2021, the festival said:
“Riot Fest is moving… to September 17-19, 2021. More bands, and headliners, and surprises still to be announced! Tickets are on sale now.
If you already have your 2020 ticket, you’re in luck, it’s good for 2021.
We’ll miss you this year, but we’ll be back bigger and better in 2021 with a special Thursday Preview Party on September 16, 2021 with surprise sets from mystery bands and much more. See you in 458 days…”
To not leave fans totally hanging, the Chicago festival went ahead and revealed a portion of their lineup including none other than My Chemical Romance, The Smashing Pumpkins, Run The Jewels, Pixies, Coheed And Cambria, Taking Back Sunday and more.
