Gearing up to drop their highly anticipated album Beautiful Oblivion and hit the road on their Noise Presents headliner with Polyphia, Lil Aaron and Sleep Token, Issues have just thrown their fans the ultimate curveball with their brand new track “Flexin.”
Following the release of their heavy track “Tapping Out” and their dark single “Drink About It,” Issues’ newest song is a total dance track combining vibes of Prince, Peaches and Pharell.
Talking about the out-of-the-box track you’d probably never expect to hear from Issues, outgoing vocalist Tyler Carter said, “I was burned out from writing the album. We had written and revised 30+ songs and I just had no juice. I wanted to goof around and have fun in my writing session so I started freestyling about my current financial situation. When my band heard the song, they were amped. We made it Issues style and our team loved how fun and different this song was. It’s definitely the black sheep of our album.”
