If the mention of Underoath earlier today didn’t bring you back to the screamo glory days of the mid-2000’s, this should definitely do the trick. Debuting earlier today, Canada’s rowdy rockers and post-hardcore veterans Silverstein have put out a brand new single titled, “A Midwestern State of Emergency.”
Off their 8th studio album I Am Alive In Everything We Touch - which hits stores May 19 via Rise Records - “A Midwestern State of Emergency” is an upbeat breakdown-heavy track similar to the sounds we heard on Silverstein’s previous record, This Is How The Wind Shifts (e.g “Stand Amid and Roar" and "Massachusetts”).
Pre-orders for I Am Alive In Everything We Touch are available now through iTunes. To see track listing for the new record as well as album artwork, be sure to check below.
