Oh 2002, what a year: A little-known show called American Idol made its television debut, Harry Potter, Star Wars and Lord of The Rings all released highly successful sequels and a small French-Canadian pop-punk band named Simple Plan released their first-ever album No Pads, No Helmets…Just Balls.
Now, 15 years later, American Idol has (finally) come to an end, Star Wars and Harry Potter are releasing somewhat-acclaimed prequels and the boys in Simple Plan are still going strong and gearing up to hit the road in celebration of their highest selling album yet.
That’s right, kicking off March 17th in Fort Lauderdale, Pierre, Sebastian, David, and Chuck will be hitting the stage to perform their double platinum album in full. Seeing support from Set It Off and fellow Canadians Seaway, the 19-date tour has the makings of being one of the best pop-punk tours of the year.
Tickets for the nostalgic trek go on sale this Friday and can be found here. For tour dates and locations, be sure to look below.
