If you’ve ever wondered what Buffalo’s finest Every Time I Die would sound like in the key of Miles Davis or Duke Ellington – that is, in the style of Jazz – today is your lucky day.
Recently at a jazz bar in LA named the Blue Whale, a few local musicians turned “Roman Holiday” and “Underwater Bimbos From Outer space” into modern jazz jams that would perfectly accompany your elevator ride up to the 13th floor.
After jazz drummer Corey Coverstone uploaded a clip to Instagram, he quickly got a surprise of a lifetime as Every Time I Die guitarist Andy Williams gave the band some pretty huge praise.
“This is the absolute coolest cover of an ETID song I’ve seen yet,” Williams commented. “I’m freaking out!!!”
