Warped Tour creator Kevin Lyman and Mayhem Fest/Odd Ball Festival co-founder John Reese may have just put together two of the best back-to-back weekends in punk rock music festival history.
Starting off with a rebirth of The Taste Of Chaos tour, the San Manual Amphitheater in San Bernardino, CA will be hosting Jimmy Eat World, The Used, Dashboard Confessional, Thrice, The All-American Rejects, Saves The Day, Glassjaw, The Movielife, Story of The Year, Finch, Mark Hoppus (DJ set), Greek Fire and Adair Saturday, October 3.
Then, if that wasn’t already enough excitement, the very next weekend Lyman and Reese will be unleashing the first-ever It’s Not Dead festival featuring Bad Religion, Pennywise, Descendents, NOFX, The Vandals, 7 Seconds, Bouncing Souls, Anti-Flag, Strung Out, Fishbone, H20, Lagwagon, Goldfinger, Reel Big Fish, Less Than Jake and many more. In addition to the numerous punk rock legends playing across three stages, It’s Not Dead will also have a Vans old-school skate/BMX jam with action sports icons Mike Frazier, Steve Caballero, Christian Hosoi, Omar Hassan, Neal Hendrix, Dennis McCoy along with pros Lizzie Armanto, Alex Perelson, Josh Borden.
Tickets for both events will go on sale 10 am PST this Monday, June 22. Until then, enjoy a Taste Of Chaos throwback with Bert and Jeph from The Used below.
