Well, isn’t this a wonderful way to start the day. After completely obsessing over the Fever 333 – aka the hip-hop-meets-hardcore brainchild of Jason Butler (ex-letlive.), Aric Improta (Night Verses) and Stephen Harrison (ex-The Chariot) – since their emergence back in July of last year, we’re excited to share that the talented trio has finally dropped some news regarding the release of an EP.
Now don’t worry, you won’t have to wait too long to hear The Fever 333′s first body of work as the band’s Made An America EP is available everywhere today! That’s right! Continuing with their unconventional methods, Butler, Improta and Harrison have just surprise released their debut seven-track EP via Roadrunner Records.
“The movement is much greater than the music,” says Butler about The Fever 333′s vision and future. “The art is only a contingent piece. We want to make sure we’re just as involved in the activism and actual activation. By no means do we expect other artists to take on this task. Most of the people who made big improvements were either assassinated or just called crazy. We make it ostensibly clear that everything we do is in an active effort for change. It’s about bringing back that socio-political mindfulness. We’re trying to write the soundtrack to the revolution that we know is about to happen.”
