Great news Maine fans! While the Arizona act is hard at work on the follow-up to 2019′s critically acclaimed You Are OK, it looks like you won’t have to wait too long for new music from the pop rock mainstays – well, sort of.
Just announced today, via his side-project John The Ghost, frontman John O'Callaghan will be releasing his long-awaited debut solo album.
Set to hit stores February 12th, O'Callaghan’s hotly anticipated nine-track album I ONLY WANT TO LIVE ONCE will be his first solo release since 2016′s EP Sincerely, John the Ghost.
Commenting on the upcoming record featuring previously released singles “Rolled Down Window” and “LIVE ONCE,” O'Callaghan said, “What started out as a single song, turned into three, turned into seven, which all turned into my debut nine song album.”
O'Callaghan added, “A friend of mine interpreted the title I ONLY WANT TO LIVE ONCE as a negative, when in reality I meant for it to highlight my lust for life. Live today because you live once. And since you only live once, please listen to my record at least once! All love.”
